Friction Insights: Turning Confusion into Action
Use Dashboard → Friction Insights to find repeated confusion themes with evidence.
What makes a theme actionable
A theme is actionable when it has:
- repeat occurrence (not one-off noise)
- enough evidence snippets to understand context
- stable confidence over the selected range
- meaningful impact on user progress
Recommended decision loop
- Pick one high-impact theme.
- Open evidence and read at least 2-3 conversations.
- Identify the smallest fix with clear ownership.
- Ship that fix in your existing tracker/tool.
- Return to Insights next cycle and compare trend direction.
Filters and scope
Insights supports assistant and date-range filtering. Range depth and evidence volume depend on plan entitlements.
Common mistakes
- creating backlog items from one snippet only
- treating low-confidence themes as urgent without conversation review
- changing too many things at once, making trend validation impossible
What good looks like
- themes link directly to clear owners
- each action has a success metric
- trend movement is reviewed after each shipped change
