Assistants and Experience Design

Use Dashboard → Assistants to create, manage, and deploy assistants.

What to configure per assistant

  • assistant name and public display name
  • behavior and response style
  • knowledge attached to that assistant
  • embed snippet for deployment

Use assistant boundaries that map to real user journeys.

Examples:

  • customer support assistant
  • docs assistant
  • onboarding assistant

Avoid creating too many assistants too early. Keep ownership clear.

Assistant management workflow

  1. Open Assistants.
  2. Select an assistant card.
  3. Choose Chat, Knowledge, Settings, or Embed.
  4. Make one focused change.
  5. Re-test before rolling out further changes.

Before you publish changes

Run a short validation set:

  • one common question
  • one edge case question
  • one question that should produce uncertainty/fallback

Limits and plan impact

Assistant count limits are plan-based. If you hit your limit, Sol Helps prompts upgrade actions in-app.
